Legends from the Past

When I recorded Legends from the Past, I was a very small YouTuber with fewer than a thousand subscribers, not thinking about making an album.

YouTube had just changed its monetization rules, I challenged myself to post 1 video per day for a month in hopes of meeting the new threshold. Somewhere in the middle of that, I sat down with my small electric lever harp and recorded 15 improvised pieces back to back. If I made a mistake, I repeated it twice so it looked intentional.

Those recordings became Legends from the Past. I considered them essentially throwaway material.
