The process

How we transform your vision into finished vocals

Share your world

You send your track, references, lyrics draft, and any melody ideas. MIDI and guide vocals are very welcome, but not mandatory. I take a look at the project and what needs to be done. We then come up with a plan that fits your budget and timeline.

Songwriting & arrangements

We collaborate on songwriting and arrangements to make sure your vision is fully realized before recording. Depending on the song, this can range from a brief prep call to co-writing and layering harmony arrangements. I can also give feedback on the instrumental from a vocalist's perspective so everything works together.

Live recording session

We record together in a live online session so you can direct phrasing, intensity, and character in real time until the performance is exactly what you want. We typically start with the lead vocals and then add harmonies and layers as needed.

Edit and deliver

After the session, I edit the vocals. I clean, tune, and align them, and deliver them as clean WAV stems ready for mixing.
